Step 1 lead in
T: Hello! Boys and girls. Look at this girl! Who is it?
S1: Is it your daughter?
T: Yes, you are so clever. She studies in Nanchang. What does she want to be? Guess!
S2: Does she want to be a teacher?
T: No, she doesn’t.
S3: Does she want to be a doctor?
T: No, she doesn’t. Look! She wants to be an astronaut. (板書新單詞)
【設(shè)計(jì)意圖與反思】利用女兒的圖片,讓學(xué)生猜測(cè)她未來(lái)職業(yè),打開了學(xué)生思維閘門,很自然地復(fù)習(xí)了上一單元有關(guān)職業(yè)的單詞,又引出了新課要學(xué)的單詞astronaut,為后面進(jìn)一步導(dǎo)入單詞和話題做好準(zhǔn)備。同時(shí),談?wù)摻處熍畠旱奈磥?lái)職業(yè),更能調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣,拉近師生距離。
Step 2 Presentation
T: Where will she live? She will live in a space station. (出示圖片,板書新單詞)How will she get to the space? She will take a rocket.(出示圖片,板書新單詞) Where will she live? She will live in an apartment.(出示圖片,板書新單詞)
T: Can you name more words of jobs, transportation, and places to live? Work in groups,write as many words as you can. I’ll give only one minute. (1分鐘后,展示兩組學(xué)生寫的單詞,學(xué)生完成1a and 1b)
T: Now I’d like you to predict your life in the future. You may predict like this:
I will be a(n)…I will go to work by… I will live in/ at…
First please think about it for one minute.
S4: I will be a scientist. I will go to work by car. I will live in Beijing.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖與反思】此環(huán)節(jié)借助圖片,導(dǎo)入了本節(jié)課的新單詞 space station,rocket和apartment,又導(dǎo)入了目標(biāo)語(yǔ)言和話題,然后學(xué)生頭腦風(fēng)暴說(shuō)出職業(yè)、交通和居住地點(diǎn)的單詞,接下來(lái)用這些單詞和導(dǎo)入的句型預(yù)測(cè)自己的未來(lái)生活,也為聽力做好鋪墊。 各環(huán)節(jié)層層遞進(jìn),銜接緊密,過(guò)渡自然。
Step 3 Listening
T: Very good. Now Alexis is interviewing Joe about his life now , ten years ago and in ten years. Let’s listen and know about it. Before listening, you can guess the answer first. (播放兩遍錄音,核對(duì)答案)
T: Now Listen each conversation again, and choose the correct answers. (每聽一段,設(shè)計(jì)兩個(gè)單選題,教學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)聽前預(yù)測(cè),錄音放一遍, 核對(duì)答案)
T: OK! Please look at 1d. Now please read the sentences and the words in the chart. You can fill in the blanks with the correct words in the box first. Then I’ll play the tape again to check your answers.( 錄音放一遍, 核對(duì)答案)
T:Now please read the conversation after the tape. (教師播放錄音,學(xué)生跟讀)
T: Please retell Joe’s life.( 叫三個(gè)學(xué)生分別復(fù)述Joe現(xiàn)在、十年前和十年后的生活,然后全班同學(xué)連起來(lái)一起復(fù)述)
【設(shè)計(jì)意圖與反思】聽力環(huán)節(jié)教師注意聽力策略指導(dǎo)—聽前預(yù)測(cè),另外增加了選擇題聽力練習(xí),更好地訓(xùn)練了學(xué)生聽力。復(fù)述對(duì)話環(huán)節(jié)能較好的訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的口語(yǔ),同時(shí)我將要學(xué)生作為課后作業(yè)寫在書面表達(dá)本上,也提高了學(xué)生的書面表達(dá)能力,有鞏固了聽力內(nèi)容,學(xué)生背誦對(duì)話將更容易。
Step 4 Pair-work
T: Now work in pairs and talk about Joe’s life now, 10 years ago and 10 years from now. I’ll ask some pairs to act them out.
Step 5 Interview
T: Now I’d like you to interview one of your friends about his or her life now, 10 years ago and in 10 years. Then I’ll ask some students to report in front of the class. I’ll give you 5 minutes. You can use these sentences to interview your friends.

【設(shè)計(jì)意圖與反思】通過(guò)Pair-work和Interview兩個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)學(xué)生再次鞏固了本課學(xué)的句型,提高學(xué)生英語(yǔ)口頭表達(dá)能力,而且這兩個(gè)環(huán)節(jié)也銜接緊密,學(xué)生學(xué)以致用。
Step 6 Summary
從單詞、句型上小結(jié)本節(jié)課內(nèi)容,并對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行思想教育Yesterday is a history.
Tomorrow is a mystery. Today is a gift, so we call it present. 回首過(guò)去,珍惜今天,展望未來(lái)。
Step 7 Homework
1. Retell the conversations in 1c.
2. Write down the report about your friend’s life now, 10 years ago and in 1o years on the exercise books.
